Platinum Building Tour

Alberici Headquarters
The Alberici Headquarters building has been certified Platinum under the LEED for New Construction rating system at 60 points, the world’s second highest credit level achieved to date. Alberici Constructors converted a 50-year-old manufacturing facility into 110,000 square feet of Class A office space, incorporating numerous environmentally friendly features, including:

  • Recycling portions of the existing building and eliminating 93% of all construction and demolition materials from local landfills.
  • The addition of operable clerestories for ventilation and atriums for natural light, reducing the need for artificial light.
  • Raised-floor construction in office areas with floor vents for individually controlled warm and cool air distribution.
  • Energy-efficient mechanical systems that reduce energy consumption.
  • Incorporation of locally supplied materials with high percentages of recycled content.

Kerr Family Foundation at 21 O’Fallon Street
The first wind turbine in St. Louis city is among the features that earned the Kerr Family Foundation at 21 O’Fallon Street a platinum rating on the U.S. Green Building Councils Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system.
